Fernandez is not believed to have been injured in the crash
Fernandez, who was in a Porsche, crashed into a Volkswagen SUV while driving through Dunham Massey, Altrincham.
The driver of the VW was allegedly whipped, but no serious injuries were reported.
As you can see in these images sent to talkSPORT, Fernandes remained in place until the arrival of police and an ambulance.
The United star also exchanged details with the driver of the other car involved in the collision.
The 27-year-old was unharmed and was still expected to train with the rest of Ralph Rangnik’s team on Monday, despite fear.
The crash came on the eve of United’s major Premier League clash with rivals Liverpool on Tuesday night as they look to get closer to the top four and secure a Champions League qualifier next season.

The accident appears to have led to a car crashing into someone’s front garden fence.
The Red Devils are just three points behind Tottenham in fourth place with six games left.
But they are facing some difficult matches, such as the team of Jurgen Klopp and other rivals in the four of Arsenal and Chelsea.
And United will be grateful that Fernandes will probably be available for these huge matches, despite the fear on Monday morning.
The midfielder recently signed a five-year contract after contributing nine goals and six assists to the league this campaign.
And he will have to continue to contribute to the Red Devils if they want to get into the top four this season.

Despite his lack of form this season and Man United this season, Fernandes is still one of the best players in the Premier League.
Fernandes received harsh criticism as he fought for form this term, but remains a key player for Manchester United.
The Portuguese international was stunned in his first season and a half after arriving from Sporting Lisbon for £ 68 million.
Arriving in January 2020, Fernandes won consecutive Old Trafford Player of the Year awards as the midfielder managed to come back stunning with 40 goals and 25 assists in 80 games.
His performance declined this term as part of the team’s struggles under interim chief Rangnik, scoring nine goals and 14 assists in 40 games in a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils.
Despite the decline in his performances, he easily became one of the busiest players on the team and will be crucial for United, as they pursue the last place in the top four for the rest of the season.
