Alejandro Garnacho is fighting for his debut at Manchester United against Norwich after being named in their squad for the match.
The 17-year-old Garnacho joined United from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2020 and has scored 12 goals for the youth teams this season, including five in the United Under-18 run for the FA Youth Cup final.
The Spanish-born striker was included in Argentina’s senior team last month and recently trained for the first time with United’s first team.

Garnacho was added to the United squad to make up for the absence of Fred, who was injured in a 1-0 defeat to Everton last week.
The midfielder was sent off in the middle of the first half last week and did not recover in time for Saturday’s game.
Luke Shaw may miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery last week to remove the bolts from the double break he suffered against PSV Eindhoven in September 2015. Scott McTominey, Rafael Varane and Edinson Cavani are also out .
“Five players will still be missing for tomorrow, some of them probably for the upcoming matches,” said United’s interim manager Ralph Rangnik. “Fred and Scott, Rafael Varane will still be missing, Luke Shaw has removed his bolts from his leg and Edinson Cavani, these are the five who will still be missing.
“As it looks like, [Shaw] will be out for at least another four or five weeks, I think it will be difficult for him to be available for the remaining seven games. “
Nemanja Matic, who has announced he will leave United in the summer, and Paul Pogba, also whose contract expired in June, will start in the midfield.

Although Eric ten Haag is actually United’s chosen manager, Ranknik was reluctant to talk about the Ajax coach’s merits in running United.
Ten Haag is believed to have verbally agreed to take over at United, but the club has not yet made an official announcement.
“I don’t know if the deal is done and my answer is the same as that of Eric ten Haag, my focus is on the match against Norwich, I am preparing the team at a higher level for the match,” Rangnik added.
“Again, it doesn’t make sense (to talk about Ten Hag). We all know he’s a good manager, he did a good job at Ajax and former clubs, but there’s no point in telling you what I think of another coach. “
