The match between Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers is scheduled for the 10th week

Coach Mike McCarthy will make his first trip to Green Bay to face his former team when the Cowboys visit the Packers in week 10 next season.

The NFL on Wednesday announced the Cowboys-Packers game for November 13 before the publication of the full schedule for 2022 on Thursday.

McCarthy coached Green Bay for parts of 13 seasons and led the Packers during their 2010 Super Bowl season. He was fired in December 2018 and appointed head coach of the Cowboys 13 months later after a one-year break from coaching.

This will be the first meeting of the teams since 2019. The Packers lead the all-time series over the Cowboys 20-17, including the playoffs, and have won the last three matches. Dallas beat Green Bay 30-16 in 2016, the last time the teams played at Lambo Field.

The NFL has already announced several games for the 2022 season, including a two-legged football game for Week 2 on Monday night, the International League Games in 2022 and one of three games for Christmas.
