The murder of King Lin: A woman in her 50s dies, three arrested

Three people have been arrested after a murder investigation began after a woman died in Kings Lynn this morning.

Emergency services were called to an address in Highgate, near the city center, around 12:30 p.m., after the woman was found seriously injured.

About six police cars and two ambulances were on the scene.

The woman, who is about 50 years old, was taken to hospital, where she died.

The death is being treated as suspicious, Norfolk police have confirmed.

Three people, a man of about 50, a woman of 50 and a man of about 40, were arrested in connection with the death.

It is believed that the parties knew each other.

Forensic teams and police investigators were spotted entering the property today [Saturday, April 16].

The cardboard remains in place while investigations continue.

Detective Chief Phil Gray, of the Joint Large Investigation Team, said: “The investigation is at an early stage, but at the moment it seems that all parties involved are known to each other.

“We would urge anyone who was in the Highgate area between 9pm and 1am last night who may have seen or heard something that could help our investigation to come out and contact the police.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Norfolk police, citing crime reference number 36/27811/22.
