The OPP warns the public after a man is seen riding on the back of a truck

The western region of Ontario’s provincial police shared a video on Twitter on Sunday about a strange situation involving a truck and an impersonal passenger.

In a tweet, police said an unknown person was riding on the back of a truck traveling on Highway 24 in Norfolk County, Ont. overnight. The person is seen standing on the bumper of the car and grabbing the side of the truck.

“No, you don’t see things!” OPP wrote on Twitter.

Police say the driver was unaware of a stray passenger hanging from the back of the truck, and their video was sent by a concerned citizen.

But police used the video to remind the public not to imitate reckless behavior, writing on social media: “This is a very dangerous action that could have life changes or extreme consequences.”

The OPP continues to investigate the incident.
