McCormick and Oz vow to continue fighting in Pennsylvania’s GOP primary, which is too close
Pennsylvania Senate GOP leaders Mehmet Oz and Dave McCormick predicted victory on Tuesday amid a razor-thin race between the pair that could focus on automatic counting.
“So we will not have a result tonight. When all the votes are counted, I am convinced that we will win, “Oz told supporters of his party on election night.
“We will win this campaign,” McCormick said. “We currently have tens of thousands of ballots in the mail that have not been counted … unfortunately we will not have a solution tonight. But we can see the way forward, we can see victory ahead.”
Oz, a Trump-approved celebrity doctor, and McCormick, a former hedge fund manager, were within tenths of a percentage point on Tuesday night’s election results.
The winner of the Senate election in the Republican Party of Pennsylvania will face Democrat nominee John Feterman in November.

As a razor, the thin primary election in the Senate of the Republican Party in Pennsylvania may focus on automatic counting
The Republican Senate primary election in Pennsylvania could focus on Tuesday’s countdown, as former hedge fund manager Dave McCormick and Trump-approved celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz are only tenths of a percentage point on election night.
Pennsylvania law requires automatic recounts for statewide races, which are within 0.5 percent of the total number of votes – meaning Pennsylvania voters may have to wait a little longer to find out the Republican Senate candidate.
The eventual winner of the GOP primary will face Democratic Senate-nominated Lt. Gov. John Feterman, who won the race despite having a stroke last week.
Tillis “can’t wait to work” with Chuck Edwards, whom he supported in front of Madison Kotorn
Senator Tom Tillis, RN.C., on Tuesday congratulated North Carolina’s 11th Congressional candidate Chuck Edwards on his major victory over Madison Coathorn, RN.C., after the senator approved Edwards against the controversial congressman.
“Republicans chose Chuck Edwards tonight because he is the epitome of mountain values who will fight for them every day in Congress with honor and integrity,” Tillis said. “I have no doubt that he will win in November, and I can’t wait to work together on behalf of West North Carolina and hold the Biden-Harris administration accountable for its failed policies.

Cawthorn cedes GOP primary to contender Chuck Edwards following scandals that ruined the campaign
Representative Madison Cotorne, RN.C., called for a run-off in the House of Representatives’ election to Chuck Edwards on Tuesday night, as Edwards had a narrow lead with almost all votes counted in North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District.
Edwards said Kotorn had backed down in a speech to his party on election night, according to Fox News Austin Westfall.
“It’s just amazing. Nevertheless, we fought hard to win this election and provide clear conservative leadership for the mountains. “I am so grateful for the support I received and I am forever indebted to the hardworking people in this county who made this victory possible,” Edwards said in a statement.
“Now we’re going to harness that energy, get together as a party, and keep that place in the hands of the Republicans in November,” Edwards added. “My campaign was to stay true to mountain values and achieve real results for West North Carolina, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
Fox News’ Marisa Schultz confirmed with Cowthorne’s campaign that he had indeed called to give way to Edwards.
Edwards, a U.S. senator, was backed by Sen. Tom Tillis, RN.C., and backed by parts of the Republican Party against the 26-year-old brand.

Mastriano wins nomination for governor of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, with a victory for the influence of Trump’s support
U.S. lawmaker Doug Mastriano will win the Republican primary in the race for governor of Pennsylvania, the Associated Press predicted on Tuesday.
Supported by former President Donald Trump, Mastriano has worried some Pennsylvania Republicans who thought it might be difficult for him to win in November because of his embrace of efforts to cancel the 2020 election.
Some Republicans have tried to unite around Mastriano’s main opponent, Lou Barletta. But Mastriano prevailed, in another example of Trump’s tough grip on the Republican Party, just weeks after Trump brought victory to Ohio Republican nominee Jay Vance in the Ohio Senate.

Cawthorn hopes for voters on primary day as opponent Edwards takes early leadership in elections
By Marisa Schultz of Fox News:
Late Tuesday, Madison Cowton’s spokesman, RN.C., was still predicting victory in his main race, while acknowledging that he was “closer than I thought he would be”.
Shortly after 9 p.m., Kotorn was behind Senator Chuck Edwards, whose legislature includes 11th place in Congress. The Kotorn team expected Edwards to have a better start with the absent voters, but predicted that Kotorn would reduce the gap as more votes were collected.
“We have high hopes that we will win,” Kotorn told Fox News Digital. “I do not believe that this will lead to a runoff.
“We know that Cawthorn voters are voters on Voting Day,” Cawthorn added.
The 26-year-old freshman, who faced a series of negative headlines, said the reason the race was so intense was that his party was working to oust him.
“The biggest thing is probably just the coordinated strike, which was really carried out by members of my own party,” Kotorn said. “I believe there is a war between which version of conservatism and republicanism will move forward.
He attributed to former President Donald Trump that he stood by him when he faced a “coordinated strike by members of my own party who cooperate with the media.”
“When you have your back. He is holding your back until the end, “Kotorn told Trump.

Trump to be tested in high-ranking clashes between Senate and Pennsylvania governors
NEWTOWN, PA .
While former President Donald Trump is not on the ballot on Tuesday, his long-running grip on Republicans is on the line in opposition to the Republican Senate, following his approval and full court support over the past week and a half for Mehmet Oz, one of the main race leaders. .
Also attracting national attention is the likelihood that Sen. Doug Mastriano, a strong supporter of Trump’s repeated attempts over the past year and a half to make up for his loss in the 2020 election, approved by the former president just three days ago, could win the Republican party nomination for governor. This could potentially cause major GOP headaches in the general election.
