The Strictly Come Dancing star ran the London Marathon just hours after wowing the judges in the ballroom

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Tyler West proved he’s the fittest man on the dance floor today, completing the London Marathon just hours after a high-energy performance.

Cloudy pre-race conditions didn’t dampen his spirits as he spoke to the BBC’s Gabby Logan alongside fellow celebrity runner Mark Wright.

DJ Kiss looked relaxed and happy during the 26-mile tour of the capital, which he undertook to raise money for UK Youth – a charity whose mission is to empower young people of all ages and backgrounds.

Recording himself on the road, he said: “The atmosphere is crazy.”

No doubt Tyler had some motivational tunes blasting through his air pods as he pounded the pavement in a colorful vest emblazoned with his name.

His smile grew even bigger as he received his medal at the finish line, where his proud dance partner Diane Buswell was waiting for a hug.

Acknowledging the extreme undertaking ahead of the race, he told the BBC: “I committed to it earlier in the year and I’m never going to let people down.

“Diane will be watching over me anyway to make sure I don’t push myself too hard.”

The Australian dancer stood next to him and said: “That was your training for the week, wasn’t it, to do that today.”

Diane herself avoided competing, admitting she was more comfortable on the sidelines.

Last night the pair impressed Strictly viewers and judges alike, scoring 31 for Buster Poindexter’s Hit The Road Jack jive.

Chief Justice Shirley Ballas described it as “the real deal”.
