Today’s Wordle response on May 22nd
Wordle’s answer today is money.
Everyone knows what money is, even if they don’t know its true meaning.
Apparently, the word “money” comes from the Latin word “moneta”, which is associated with the Roman goddess Juno, in whose temples the money was cut.
Eventually, people began to call coins by this word, and it eventually became “money” in Middle English times.
