Hundreds of fans took to the streets to march before the funeral of The Wanted star Tom Parker.
The widow of pop singer Kelsey, whom he married in 2018, led a procession of three black horses through Pats Wood in south-east London.
Flowers with the words “Dad” and “Tom” adorned the carriage.
The 33-year-old Bolton-born Parker died last month, surrounded by family and colleagues, 17 months after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
While close friends and family will attend the private service in Queensway, Pats Wood, Ms. Parker, invited fans to gather to watch the service outside on big screens.

On social media, supporters shared photos of Parker with fans, along with messages of solidarity with his family.
His widow created a fundraising page to “keep Tom’s memory alive forever” through donations to charities instead of sending flowers and cards.

In the first 12 hours, the site exceeded its £ 5,000 target and has received more than £ 54,000 in donations so far.
Earlier this month, Ms. Parker thanked everyone who donated to the fund for their “heartfelt messages,” which she said “really shed light on what a legend my Tom is” and highlighted his accomplishments over the past 18 years. months of his life.

After his death, fans from around the world and notable figures in the music industry paid tribute.
Wanted partner Max George said: “My heart is broken and I can’t even imagine what the future holds without you.”
Tom Parker and Kelsey were married in 2018 and had a daughter, Aurelia Rose, in 2019 and a son, Bodhi, in October last year.
The singer revealed that in October 2020 he was diagnosed with stage IV glioblastoma and began radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

Despite his diagnosis, in the weeks before his death he performed on stage with his bandmates as part of their much-delayed reunion tour.
Parker shared constant updates about his condition and treatment with fans on social media. The couple sometimes used the hashtag #positiveparkers to show how they coped with his illness.
The Wanted, formed in 2009 with Parker, George, Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes, the band released their debut album the following year.
