Trey Gaudi: The only Republicans the media likes are either dead or defeated or voting with Democrats

NEW You can now listen to Fox News articles!

Sunday Night America presenter Trey Gaudi spoke directly to the media in his opening monologue over the weekend, explaining the public’s lack of public concern over the leaked audio tapes of the Republican leader in the House of Representatives. Kevin McCarthy in which media members struggled to “contain their euphoria.”

TRY GOODY: I try to be helpful when I can, so I will do something that may surprise you. I will help the New York Times, Politico, CNN and the Washington Post. These media are currently struggling to understand why no one is interested in the leaked audio tapes in which Kevin McCarthy spoke about January 6 and the consequences.

The media began to express their indignation. And they could barely contain their euphoria. They wrote obituaries for Kevin McCarthy. But no one came to the funeral. No one outside of their own media echo camera cared, and they couldn’t understand why. So, let me help … many of us have watched in amazement as you in the DC media support Democrats and destroy Republicans. We cannot recall a single negative story about Democrat leaders or committee chairs, or a single positive story about Republican leaders.

You, in the DC media, don’t like John Boner or Paul Ryan … but you like Nancy Pelosi. She is a genius to you. Although she once lost control of the House of Representatives and is about to do so again, she is a genius when she submits impeachment articles without a single Republican vote … she is a genius when the House cannot pass Biden’s agenda, when the squad pulls her group to the left, she is a genius.

We’ve been watching you cover Adam Schiff for years. He kept information from the public, which he accused of Russian disinformation. He mistreated witnesses, but you don’t care. You love Judge Jackson, but not Judge Barrett. You want the local police to be reformed, but not the FBI. For you, Joe Manchin and Kirsten Cinema are a threat to democracy. But when Republicans break the ranks, they are independent. Speaking of independents, the only Republicans you like are those Republicans who are dead, [those] who lose or vote with Democrats.

Your injustice makes others rethink what it means to be fair. So as you sit and look at each other, wondering how we got here, the good news is that you’re looking in the right place and looking at the right people. You were.
