“Jacob was a much-loved and respected student at Christian Brothers High School between September 2012 and June 2019, when he left to study music and audio production at Queen’s University in Belfast.

“He was a diligent, determined and conscientious student with an infectious and captivating warmth that made him extremely popular with both his peers and employees. He was sincere, good-natured, and always generous with his time, volunteering at many school events during those seven years.

“As a school community, we pray for the peace of Jacob’s soul and express our deepest condolences to Jacob’s family at this very difficult time.

“His gentle and unpretentious nature will ensure that he will always be remembered with great love and affection by all of us who knew him.

Jacob’s funeral will take place at Christ the King Church, Stratroy, Ko Tyrone, on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
