It’s time for another season of the Overwatch League.

If you forgot to request beta access to Overwatch 2 through today’s mega campaign Twitch Drops, all is not lost. Overwatch League will be handing out thousands of beta keys on its first weekend.

OWL has postponed the first two weeks of matches in the East due to COVID-19 protocols, so all weekend opening matches are held in the afternoon and evening in America. They start at 15:00 Eastern time every day between 5 May and 8 May. You can see the full schedule for week 1 here:
Overwatchleague2022 schedule
1,500 keys will be handed out every hour during the opening weekend of season 5. According to the trailer for announcing the work, the codes will be handed out during other selected matches.
Overwatch League matches are broadcast on YouTube, not Twitch. To be eligible for the Overwatch 2 beta key through this campaign, you’ll need to link your YouTube account to Battle.net. You can do this by clicking or tapping the rewards icon below the OWL stream on YouTube.
You must watch at least one hour of OWL broadcasts to qualify. All broadcasts in English, French and Korean will offer falls. The rules for handing out OWL beta keys for Overwatch 2 are here.
What’s more, you’ll be able to watch the pros play Overwatch 2 and get Overwatch League tokens. You can spend them on OWL skins in the game. Five tokens will be credited to your account for each hour watched and you will receive double tokens during the following matches:
- Los Angeles Gladiators vs. New York Excelsior (May 5, 3:00 PM ET)
- Vancouver Titans vs. Boston Uprising (16:40 ET, May 6)
- Washington Justice v. Toronto Defiant (3PM ET, May 7)
- Florida Mayhem vs. Paris Eternal (16:30 ET, May 8)

The first beta version of Overwatch 2 will run until May 17. There will be more beta versions in the future, including those for console players.
