Two were taken to hospital after a train hit a vehicle in southern Winnipeg

Two people were taken to hospital on Friday after a train collided with a vehicle at the southern end of Winnipeg.

The collision took place near Bairdmore Boulevard at the Letellier intersection, Winnipeg police tweeted shortly after 6:30 p.m.

At 9:30 p.m., Winnipeg police said the road was reopened.
