Ukraine is amassing a million-strong fighting force equipped with Western weapons to retake southern territory from Russia, the nation’s defense minister revealed to The times.
In his first interview with a British newspaper since the start of the invasion, Oleksiy Reznikov said President Zelensky had ordered the Ukrainian army to retake occupied coastal areas that are vital to the country’s economy.
“We understand that politically this is very necessary for our country. The President has ordered the Supreme Military Commander to draw up plans.
