Viewers of Britain’s Got Talent criticized the show tonight for “fixing” after a famous singer won the first Golden Buzzer in the series.
The talent contest, which airs on ITV with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alyosha Dixon and David Williams and led by Ant McPartlin and Deck Donnelly, is back on our screens tonight after a two-year absence due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Various people took to the stage to perform, including a dancing robot, a group of young scooter enthusiasts, as well as some singers and a special Golden Moment, where Nick Edwards of Doncaster was surprised by an audition from his family.
However, the last performance of the evening caused excitement for the audience at home, as the Golden Buzzer was given by Amanda Holden for a stunning performance of Never Enough.

The show tonight revealed that she plays Lauren Allred, who fans may know as the singer behind the huge hit from The Greatest Showman, which also stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya.
The greatest showman was a huge worldwide hit, and although Lauren did not appear in the film, she did the vocals for the iconic performance of the hit song, played by actress Rebecca Ferguson, who plays opera singer Jenny Lind.
Fans of the ITV talent show took to Twitter to express their disappointment as Amanda pressed her Golden Buzzer.

“Wait … This woman is the real singer who never sings enough of the greatest showman. This is a scam … This is unfair … #BGT “, one wrote, and another added:” what a bloody fix !!! Golden Button ****. ”
Another shared: “I was thinking #BGT, was it to discover new talent ?! what a fix! ”
While a third wrote: “How do I even regret it? Amanda just said it’s time for her to shine, Amanda has already sung a song for a huge music movie This is seriously not fair #BGT. ”
As she headed to the iconic London Palladium stage, Lauren introduced herself and explained what she was doing on the show. “I think some of you may have heard my voice, but you will not recognize my face,” she told the audience.
There were shocked faces from the judges when Lauren revealed her true identity and explained that she was “more comfortable singing behind the scenes,” so she never decided to do it, but she wants to try it now.
“I feel like the song is meant for me and I’m ready to express the face of the song, so I’m here to do it,” she said as she exploded into a beautiful rendition of the hit movie musical.
