WATCH: Crews from 15 fire stations battling Halifax fire

Teams from 15 fire stations were called in for the big fire on Queens Road at 2:25 p.m.

Residents were advised to keep doors and windows closed, and people were asked to avoid the area.

Firefighters from Halifax, Illingworth, Mitolmroyd, Huddersfield, Stanningley, Myrfield, Featherstone, Bradford, Rastrick, Ickley, Shipley, Todmorden, Dewsbury, Morley and Fairbury Fireworks stations, including Yorkshire Water Council and Calderdale Fire Fighting.

As of 19:00, there are still eight fire trucks and two air platforms at the scene.
