Where are Megan Markle and Prince Harry today? A couple disappeared from the competition

Many members of the royal family gathered for the anniversary platinum competition today, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were absent.

Among the royal attendees at the jubilee live star competition in front of Buckingham Palace and The Mall were the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

But Harry and Megan were not among those in the royal lodge. On Friday, Harry and Megan made their first public appearance with Windsor after retiring as dignitaries two years ago amid a storm in Megxit.

They joined dozens of family members at the special Jubilee Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, but sat far away from Charles, William, and Kate.

They also missed a Guildhall reception for royalty after that. On Saturday, the couple did not attend the platinum anniversary party at the Palace, as their daughter Lilibet is celebrating her first birthday,

A spokesman for the couple said they spent the day alone.

Pomp and parade marked the beginning of the last day of the celebrations on the occasion of the 70-year reign of the Queen, as a ceremonial military procession launched the Platinum Jubilee Competition.

The Guards, the Gurkhas, the Royal Marines, and the cavalry cavalry regiment with breastplates and feathered feathers were among the hundreds of soldiers and women who led the marchers through the streets around Buckingham Palace.

But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were absent for the second day of the festivities. The queen was also absent from the royal lodge, but the revelers are still hoping she will appear on the balcony for the finale of the carnival.
