Russia was accused of “evil without borders” after a ballistic missile with the inscription “For children” painted on the side hit a crowded railway station yesterday, while mothers, children and the elderly tried to escape from eastern Ukraine.
At least 50 people, including five children, were killed and dozens injured, some losing limbs when a Point-U rocket landed in front of Kramatorsk Central Station.
The mayor said up to 4,000 people were waiting to leave after being called to flee before a Russian attack was expected within days.
