One man is dead after a shooting Monday morning in Falconridge in northeast Calgary.
Officers found a man outside a home on Falsby Way NE, police said.
Police said officers were called to the area just before 11 a.m. for reports of shots fired.
The man’s death is being treated as suspicious.
It’s the second suspicious death in as many days after a man’s body was found in the southwest Upper Mount Royal neighborhood on Sunday, although police say they don’t believe the two deaths are related.
Several homes on the street were evacuated and parts of 54th Street NE were closed to traffic.
An autopsy will be performed later this week.
Investigators were still on the scene Monday afternoon interviewing witnesses and searching for security camera footage.
