16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder after 15-year-old killed Crime

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 15-year-old boy in Wolverhampton.

The victim was found wounded near a canal bridge in the suburb of Pendeford around 4.15pm on Friday and later died. Police believe he was stabbed.

West Midlands police say a 16-year-old boy from Wolverhampton was arrested shortly before 7 pm and a 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting an offender.

A cordon was set up around the crime scene, and officers spoke to witnesses and inspected CCTV cameras.
