2 killed, 1 wounded in Everett shooting – KIRO 7 News Seattle

EVERETT, Washington – Two men were killed and another was injured in a shooting Monday night at Everett’s home, police said.

Officers were called after 4 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lexington Avenue to report numerous people being shot dead in the house.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound to the doorstep. His staff told him to leave the house for medical help. Police said he was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.

Police said they searched the home and found two other men in their 40s with gunshot wounds. Rescue measures were carried out, but both died on the spot.

It is unknown at this time what caused the shooting.

Investigators said they were working to identify a suspect who had left before officers arrived.
