Brown, Nembhard in the mix of the 1st round

Brown seems to be on the fence from the first round. Scouts see a professional, even if there is no visible path up. In the 1920s, this will boil down to the team’s desire to decide by adding a rotating player against a bigger swing.

He helped himself to the combine, where he continued to strengthen his position as a winger who could make games for teammates on ball screens. It’s worth watching the first few years of his career if he lands with a playoff team instead of a recovering Oklahoma City Thunder.

There is a lot of evidence that the teams put equipment in the battles of the combines. Nembhard’s performance with 26 points and 11 assists in Chicago caught everyone’s attention given the freedom he had compared to the role of facilitator he played for Gonzaga. It generated noise as an option in the 1920s. Playoff teams could see a backup ready for the NBA that they can trust to keep attacking and making good decisions and enough open shots.

Drag players

Rising prospects mean that others must fall. Brown, Baldwin and Montero sound like the most vulnerable among the players expected to be selected in the first round.

Brown’s lack of attack became more alarming as the season progressed, and his defense didn’t seem strong enough to compensate for his lack of creativity and poor shooting. His results from the speed and speed tests in Chicago were astounding.

Baldwin annoys the scouts from his brutally ineffective season, historically low vertical numbers and seemingly casual approach.

The feedback for Montero is mainly about the desire of the scouts to see more and hear more positives from overtime employees.
