Three people were hospitalized on Tuesday after a Red Air plane landed at Miami International Airport and caught fire.
There were 126 people on Red Air Flight 203, which landed from Santo Domingo at 5:30 p.m., Miami Dade told ABC News.
The plane’s landing gear, a McDonnell Douglas MD-80, crashed while landing at the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration told ABC News. It is unclear whether this caused the fire.

The flight departed from Las Americas International Airport in the Dominican Republic, the FAA reported.
The fire was extinguished and passengers will be transported by bus to the terminal, said Greg Chin, communications director of the Miami Dade Aviation Department.
The three were transported to district hospitals because of the incident, according to Chin.
The FAA is investigating.
