31-year-old woman killed in The Maples: Winnipeg police

Police are investigating an apparent murder after a woman was found with upper body injuries in the Maples area of ​​Winnipeg on Saturday night and later died at a hospital.

At about 10pm, police responded to a signal for an attack at Marlowe Court, north of Inxter Boulevard, between Shepard and Fife Streets, according to police on Sunday.

Officers found an unconscious woman with injuries to her upper body and gave her emergency first aid before the ambulance arrived.

The 31-year-old Winnipeg woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, where she died of her injuries.

Homicide officers are investigating the woman’s death.
