Police say another man was arrested in connection with a run and run in Toronto last week, killing a 29-year-old woman from Scotland.
Police said on April 14, at around 3:16 a.m., officers received a report that a woman had been hit by a vehicle in the area of Spadina Avenue and King Street West.
Police said the victim was walking in the southern lanes of Spadina Avenue when she was hit by a high-speed vehicle.
The woman was transported to a hospital, where she later died of her injuries.
The woman’s family identified her as 29-year-old Erin Joksal from Scotland. She has lived in Canada for eight years.
Yoxall’s father, Anthony Yoxall, told Global News in a previous interview that his daughter works for the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence.

Erin was returning from a party when the collision took place, her parents confirmed.

According to the police, the car fled the scene after the collision.

Earlier this week, Toronto police said four men had been arrested in connection with the incident.
According to police, 41-year-old Sinesha Bogojevic of Toronto, 44-year-old Milorad Nikolic of Mississauga and 37-year-old Zacharias Bilik of Toronto have been arrested and charged.
Sources told Global News that the three defendants were charged in connection with an alleged attempt to hide the Mercedes.
Police say Ertug Direk, 42, turned himself in to police on Tuesday.
Global News has learned that the accused’s name is also Direkoglu.
Police say he was the driver of the car.

On Friday, forces announced that 41-year-old Nosahare Ochenchen from Toronto had been arrested in connection with the clash.

He is accused of failing to stop at the scene of an accident that led to his death, obstructing a peace officer, public mischief and accomplice after committing a felony.
Police said he was due to appear in court on Friday.
Officials said the investigation was ongoing. Anyone who has information or may have a control camera or security personnel is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
