ASHEVIL, North Carolina – Republican Madison Kotorn is in trouble.

But other Hendersonville residents expressed a different tone when asked if they would support his re-election bid before the primary.
“He’s young and can sometimes talk when he probably shouldn’t, but I’m all for him,” said a longtime business owner in Hendersonville, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of retribution.
Kotorn’s brazen rhetoric made him a rising star in the Republican Party.
