A severe motor accident occurred on the South Coast highway.
The traffic is intensifying in both directions as the emergency teams deal with the situation. A VOCM caller said a pickup truck and a jeep collided in Middle Pond Hollow.
The road is closed from Sheldon Drive in Bay Bulls to the Goulds turnoff. People have been asked to use the Witless Bay Line until further notice
