The federal government is warning drivers of alternating lanes to close the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge from Tuesday to Friday due to maintenance work.
Between 9 and 15 o’clock every day one or two lanes will be closed.
One lane will remain open in each direction. Drivers should expect short delays.

Pedestrian and maritime traffic will not be affected, but the Canadian Public Service and Public Procurement Agency (PSPC) is urging caution for those who expect to use the highway between May 24 and 27.
The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
