A boat burst into flames in a port in Aberdeenshire today, prompting an emergency response.
Mercy teams, including the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Scottish Police, arrived at the scene around 4pm after being notified of a fire alert at the Macduff Boat Yard.
The images show thick, black smoke billowing from the ship, which appears to be moored.
The footage also shows a number of firefighters on the scene and a cordon erected around the affected area as locals gather nearby to investigate the damage.
The fire service confirmed that four fire trucks and one high-altitude device are currently at work in an attempt to extinguish hell.

Officials also said there were no people on board at the time of the incident.
The fire was not treated as suspicious, they added.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “We are currently in McDuff after receiving a call at 3:53 p.m.
“There are four devices and one device for height.
“The crews are dealing with a fire on board one of the ships. The crews are still fighting the fire.”

A Scottish police spokesman said: “Officers were called to report a fire in the Macduff Boat Yard at around 4pm on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
“There were no people on board and it is not considered suspicious.”
