Sven Botman has been near the top of Newcastle’s transfer target list for some time. However, just when it seemed that they had secured the Dutchman’s signature, Arsenal reportedly decided to assess the move for the central defender.
Although they spent big in January on defenders, the Magpies don’t seem happy with their back line heading for next season.
