The first look at Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 fell on Tuesday morning – and it’s inspiring.
It is clear that the last two episodes of this season of the extremely popular Netflix series will be full of adventure, intense horror and, of course, comedy. The couple Vol. 2 episodes will have a total playing time of nearly four hours, noted Netflix. And, of course, the trailer is set to “Running Up That Hill,” a 1985 song by Kate Bush that recently topped the charts more than 30 years later thanks to its use in Vol. 1
Vol. The trailer for 2 was kept under lock and key, which means that it was not shared with the media before it was released to everyone to see it online on Tuesday morning. There’s a lot to take from the preview, but producer and director Sean Levy seems to have summed it up best in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“After seeing both final episodes, they are as emotional as they are cinematic,” he said. “Hell, it’s definitely a pleasure for the eyes, but they hit right in the heart. So that’s what I’m going to say about it. “
Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 was extremely well received and currently holds 89 percent of Rotten Tomatoes. The release of the first seven episodes of the season also broke the Netflix record.
According to an internal measurement of the streamer, Stranger Things collected 286.79 million hours of viewing time worldwide from May 25-27. This surpasses the previous record holder, season two of Bridgerton, who had 193 million hours of viewing time on his first weekend in March.
Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 arrives for streaming on July 1.
