A 35-year-old man arrested after an attack on an elderly woman at Kipling Station

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recent attack on an elderly woman at Kipling Station.

The incident occurred on 7 July 2022, Thursday, at around 11.15am

Toronto police say a man assaulted an 85-year-old woman and then fled.

The elderly woman was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Police released photos of the suspect yesterday. Kelon Peters, 35, of Toronto, was wanted for aggravated assault, fare fraud and probation violation.

Police say he should be considered violent and dangerous and anyone who finds him is urged to contact police.

Police arrested Peters today and charged him with assault causing bodily harm, fare fraud and breach probation. He has a court date of July 15.
