A level has been partially destroyed after it caught fire in Watford today.
Drone footage showed the scale of the blaze after it broke out in Tolpits Lane at around 4.30pm.
The flames engulfed a large swath of land, coming dangerously close to the main road.
There was a huge emergency response, with police cordoning off the area and people being evacuated from their homes.
The fire is on land near the Tolpits Lane caravan site and opposite the business park where Camelot is located.

Residents of the caravan park have been taken from their homes and there are reports that people at the King George V Playing Fields funfair have also been asked to leave.
Sean Duffy, who captured the footage from the field with his drone, said he could not believe how quickly the fire had spread.
The fire is now believed to be under control, but a large emergency presence remains in the area.

Tolpits Lane is closed in both directions with police blocking off the area with their vehicles and signs.
Hertfordshire Police said this evening: “We are currently assisting the fire and rescue service at the scene of a large fire in a field behind Tolpits Lane in #Watford.
“Roads are closed and people are advised to avoid the area.”

Several fire engines responded in an unprecedented moment for Hertfordshire Fire Service.
Today’s fire comes after another day of scorching temperatures, although the cause is currently unconfirmed.
