Police said a coyote bit a child in a park in the West Coast of Toronto on Saturday afternoon.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., officials said they had received a signal for the attack in Westlake Park, near Weston Road and Black Creek Drive.
Police advise everyone who enters the park to be careful, as it is believed that the coyote is still in the area.
Officials say they are going to the scene and that the child’s injuries do not look serious.
