Police have arrested a suspect accused of attacking three people at San Francisco International Airport with “sharp weapons”.

According to San Francisco police, the suspect is an elderly man who entered the terminal around 6pm local time on Friday, around the time the Golden State Warriors arrived at the airport after their victory in the NBA Finals over the Boston Celtics.

The incident was documented by the local branch of Fox 2 KTVU after an airport reporter covering the return of Warriors to the city was warned of the violence.
