A 49-year-old man is dead after an ATV crash in Ming’s Bight early Saturday morning.
Baie Verte RCMP first notified of the crash on Main Street shortly before 3:00 p.m.
The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was found dead on the spot.
The chief medical examiner has been hired and an investigation into the alleged use of alcohol is under way.
According to the RCMP, eight people have died in accidents with off-road vehicles in their jurisdiction so far this year, five of whom were not wearing helmets.
