A man wanted in connection with the death of a 24-year-old woman from Cumberland House has been arrested.
Alvin Thomas was arrested by Prince Albert’s police in the city on Saturday in an unrelated incident.
On June 1, the RCMP accused 39-year-old Thomas of second-degree murder in the death of Marisha Hawksbergen. Hawksbergen died last week at a community clinic.
The RCMP said it would provide the date and time of Thomas’ next trial when it becomes available.
