A Massachusetts man who drove a car into Trump’s store blames “votes” in his head, says official

Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown says his wife is running for Congress because she is disgusted with how the Biden administration handles the border, education, the deficit and foreign policy.

FOX FIRST: A man from Massachusetts who drove his car into Trump’s grocery store on Thursday blamed the “votes” in his head for it, a store employee told FOX Business.

FOX Business spoke with Carla Kelly, a New England employee about Trump, a store that sells goods in support of the 45th president.

Kelly told FOX Business that there was no quarrel or provocation that caused the man to get “out of the street and into the building” in his Volkswagen Jetta.

Asked if the driver had said anything since the crash, Kelly recalled that the only thing he said was “the voices in his head told him to do it”.

She also noted that there was a “anti-Trump sticker” on his car and that the store was open the day after the car tore the store apart.

Kelly said he hoped charges would be brought against the driver and that “there is a chance” the store will be targeted again, “but there is a chance many things will happen.”

“So I’m not worried,” Kelly said. “I’m not worried. Accept it as it comes.”

On Thursday, 46-year-old Sean Flaherty allegedly crashed his car through Keith Lambert’s store in South Easton, Massachusetts, where only one employee was working at the time, according to authorities.

Flaherty has been charged with reckless driving and malicious destruction of property, the Easton Police Department said in a statement.

Shirts, hats and other goods flew in the crash, with security footage showing the massacre.

The driver was taken to hospital after breaking his car through a shop window and is expected to be well, according to local reports.

Lambert told the local press in a statement released Friday that what matters is “everyone is safe”.

Police told the press on Thursday that there was an active investigation into the crash, but did not share what they thought was the motive behind it.

Eventually, the car was withdrawn from the store, which received damage to the facade.
