Police said a motorcyclist was transported to a trauma center after a collision in Pickering, Ont.
In a tweet at 6:17 p.m. Friday, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the collision occurred in the western lanes of 401 Brock Road.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmid said employees were in the process of closing Highway 401 west of Westney Road.

Schmid said there were “long delays” in the area.
“An air ambulance is also landing and will transport the rider to a trauma center,” he said.
