Sitting still for hours is almost impossible when you’re a child – something Prince Louis showed off on his great-grandmother’s platinum anniversary last weekend.
The restless four-year-old was a huge hit with royal fans after drawing faces while sugaring at the Queen’s anniversary pageant.
Although we all loved his playful antics, Kate Middleton’s mother was forced to intervene with some harsh words to reassure him at one point, a lip-reading expert told the Daily Star.
Jeremy Freeman says the Duchess of Cambridge told her son to stop when she noticed him moving his hands over his face, potentially picking his nose.
After pulling his hand down, she apparently told him, “I have to.”
The boy is said to have said “I don’t want to” before covering his mother’s mouth and returning to the parade.
But Kate had none of that, and reportedly said, “I said no hands.”
She then pointed to the extravagant celebration below and told Louis to “see” before waving to the crowds.

The youngest Cambridge blew raspberries and stuck out his tongue at his mother – but was warned to “stop doing this.”
Eventually, Louis settled in and was seen sharing a sweet moment with his grandfather, Prince Charles.
The future king tried to distract him by pointing out different floats in case the four-day weekend ended.
Uncle Mike Tyndall said he sympathized with Louis, who “just wanted to have fun.”
The silence during the show was “difficult” for all the children in the royal box, said the rugby star.
“Everyone is young, it’s been a long time. But as every parent knows, you’re just doing what you have to do,” he added.
The father of the three revealed that “the many sweets in the back” probably had something to do with the prince’s excitability.

Kate’s calm parenting was praised by Joe Frost – better known as “Supergirl” – who said that the Duchess “was never afraid to tell the children to stop in public.”
The parenting expert added: “Unlike other children, royalty are expected to behave in a certain way, but at the end of the day they are children, royalty or not.
“All the fanfare will be a little too much when you are young – the day was long, small moments like this will happen, especially if you are strong-willed, sensitive and in fact I would go so far as a very sensitive child in my professional opinion.
