Canada’s Wonderland water park is closed Monday after a fire broke out on one of the slides.
In a statement, the park said the “small structure fire” occurred around 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
“As Splash Works closed at 6 p.m., the affected areas of the park were cleared of guests and remaining associates were evacuated,” the statement said.

“Emergency crews have responded, no injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
York Regional Police said on Twitter that the park had been evacuated “as a precaution” due to billowing smoke.
Splash Works water park will be closed Monday, Canada’s Wonderland announced.
