A woman remains in critical condition after being hit by a car in the Hill.
Police said they were called to the scene of the collision, at the intersection of Higher Cambridge Street and Boundary Street West, in the early hours of this morning. The woman was then taken to hospital.
It is alleged that the driver of the car – a gray Volkswagen Polo – “assisted” the police in the investigation. Forensic scientists are appealing to appear as witnesses.
