A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Brampton on Friday afternoon.
Peel police said it happened at the intersection of Bramalea and Orenda roads shortly after 3:30 p.m.
The woman was taken to a trauma center in serious condition, police said.
The driver of the car, police said, remained on the scene.
The intersection is closed for investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information, including camera footage, to contact them.
