A woman was attacked and raped by four men as she was walking down an alley in Reading.
The victim, a woman in her twenties, was walking down an alley near McIlroy Park in the Tillhurst area at about 10pm on Monday night (June 27) when she was attacked.
She then went to Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment and reported the incident to police.
The first offender was described as a mixed-race man in his twenties, just over 6 feet tall, with a skinny physique and a gray suit. The second offender is described as a mixed-race man, about twenty years old, less than 6 feet tall, thin, with short dark hair in tight curls, wearing jeans and a black T-shirt.
The third and fourth offenders are described as mixed-race men in their twenties with short, dark, curly hair.
Detective Inspector Laura Corscaden, based at the Reding police station, said: “This is a worrying incident, but I would like to assure the community that we are conducting an in-depth investigation.
“Our specialists are working to support the victim in connection with this incident.
“Members of the public may see an increased police presence as we continue to investigate, and I would advise anyone with concerns to speak to one of our staff.
“Anyone who has any information related to this incident should come out.
“I would also ask anyone who has a CCTV, control camera or video bell to check their footage and get in touch if it shows anything that could help our inquiries.
