Amber Heard took up the position again on Tuesday to continue to face intense cross-examination about her relationship with her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp.
Hurd faced the first hours of her cross-examination on Monday as Depp’s lawyers tried to punch holes in her earlier allegations of alleged physical and sexual abuse by Depp.
The couple separated in 2016, but have since fought in various courtrooms as each tries to portray itself as the biggest victim in the relationship.

This particular process stems from an article written by Hurd for The Washington Post in 2018, in which she claims to have been abused, but never mentions Depp by name.
Depp is suing Hurd for $ 50 million, while Hurd is suing his ex-partner for $ 100 million.

In his earlier testimony, Hurd claimed that Depp forcibly entered it with a glass bottle of alcohol. She testified that Depp took 8-10 MDMA pills during the alleged sexual assault.
Depp, on the other hand, claims to have been the victim of an attack in Australia. He testified that Hurd cut off the tip of his finger when she threw a glass bottle into his hand.

Depp’s lawyer spent a lot of time trying to disprove Hurd’s testimony, often comparing her previous testimony.
By proof after proof, Vazquez questioned Hurd, trying to drill holes in her allegations.
Vazquez asked Hurd about the scars on her arm that Hurd claims she received during the alleged sexual assault in Australia. Vazquez hinted that Hurd had a history of self-harm and caused the scars herself.
Depp’s lawyer also read several pages of the couple’s “love diary,” where Depp and Hurd wrote many love letters to each other throughout their relationship. In various recordings, Hurd apologizes for “hurting” Depp, asks why they quarrel so often, and declares his love for the actor.

Hurd was asked about drug and alcohol use by Depp. She testified several times that Depp had a lot of substance abuse problems. Depp claims that he has never been addicted to alcohol or drugs (except for Roxicodone, for which he was treated).

Hurd testified that she had taken drugs with Depp only twice during their relationship, on a trip to the Hicksville Trailer Palace in California and on a flight to Russia.
Vazquez asked Hurd for an email containing what Hurd said was a preliminary schedule for the couple’s wedding. The email included time for “drugs and music.”
Vazquez also read a text sent by Hurd the day before her 30th birthday, in which she asked Depp to bring wine “and maybe a joint.”

A new audio clip was presented in court, including another dispute between the couple.
Hurd, laughing, called Depp a “sale” and a “joke,” mocking his career. She also tells Depp to “suck my d-k” in the video.
“Your jealousy is so tragic,” Depp said in the audio recording. He mocks Hurd in exchange for a long chant of “Aquaman!”
After a day’s lunch break, Hurd’s old speech was played in court. Hurd’s video – which is seen eating a snack while being questioned – plays audio with Depp accusing her of kicking the bathroom door in his head.

“I remember hitting you in response to something with the door,” Hurd said in the audio clip, also claiming that Depp pressed the door over her toes. Hurd is visually contemptuous in the video, laughing at times.
In court on Tuesday, Hurd testified that she laughed because of the lawyers on the other side of the table, who are not visible on the recording. She claimed that they were the ones who were neglecting her and that they were “rolling their eyes” at her, which made her react.
At the end of her cross-examination, Depp’s lawyers asked Hurd about a previous, much-discussed charge of domestic violence against her.
(In 2009, Hurd was arrested for a fourth-degree crime / domestic violence after allegedly hitting her then-girlfriend Tasha van Ri at the airport.)
After the incident, Ree issued a public statement saying Hurd had been “wrongly accused” of domestic violence. In 2011, information about the arrest was withdrawn.

After the referral began, Hurd’s lawyer asked her why she thought Depp would not “look her in the eye” during the trial, as Vazquez had previously questioned.
“Because he’s guilty,” Hurd said, looking straight at Depp, who smiled and seemed to smile as he whispered to his adviser sitting next to him.
As the reassignment continued, Hurd’s attorney faced constant objections from Depp’s team. After nearly 30 minutes and only a few real questions, Hurd told the court that she did not ask for a higher divorce agreement from Depp because “she did not want it.”

Following Hurd’s cross-examination, video testimonies of former Depp and Hurd friends iO Tilet Wright and Raquel Pennington were shown in court.
Wright, author, photographer and former New York Times journalist, shared details of his relationship with the two actors, whom he said had a close relationship while the couple was married and dating.
He said he had never witnessed the abuse of Depp Hurd, but said the Pirates of the Caribbean star could be “cruel” and “raw” and “extremely paranoid” when drinking and using drugs, and said Depp has heard “terrible” things about Hurd in the past.
Wright lived in one of Depp’s properties for about nine months, he said, and during that time he built a close relationship with the actor. He said he was also close to Depp’s children, who called him “Uncle iO.”

When Depp was sober, Wright described him as “wonderful, magical and very funny.”
“Johnny, when he was sober, was incredibly funny and imaginative, and I felt a kinship with him and a shared view of life.
However, when Depp drank or took drugs, which Wright said he witnessed frequently, he said Depp became a dark figure, spoke ill of Hurd’s appearance and talent, and occasionally threw glasses or bottles. and behaved jealous and paranoid.
He also recounted a moment when he received a phone call from Hurd and Depp after the incident in which Depp found feces on his bed and tried to hang them on Hurd.

“When I realized he was serious, I said to myself, ‘Well, first of all, I wasn’t there that day,'” Wright said.
“He was getting more and more excited. Then I heard a noise and the phone fell. “
Wright said he heard Depp’s voice say to Hurd, “Oh, you think I hit you? Do you think I hit the hell out of you? What if I blow your hair back?
“Then I heard the phone fall and Amber screamed,” he said.
