Police are urging a group of people to come in after talking to the victim of an attack in Belfast last year.
In the early hours of May 9, 2021, it was reported that a man had a broken jaw after a “vicious” attack in the area of Victoria Square.
After the incident, a group of men and women spoke to the victim before he was taken to hospital.

Police are now appealing to speak to the group as part of their investigation, along with anyone else who may have witnessed the attack.
Sergeant Brown said: “We are specifically addressing a group of men and women who were 20 years old who spoke to the victim after the attack.
“It is reported that somewhere between 1 and 2 o’clock in the morning a man was brutally attacked by another man, which led to severe facial injuries.
“The victim went to the hospital because it turned out that he had a broken jaw, which requires four steel plates.
“We would urge anyone who was in the area of Victoria Square in the city center during this attack and may have offered help to the victim to contact us at 101, citing reference number 429 08/06/22.”
