A former Ontario camp counselor, music instructor and personal assistant has been charged in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
Peel Regional Police say the suspect worked at the Kennebeck Camp in Arden, Ont. for 19 years, dating back to 2002. The summer camp specializes in young people, teenagers and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Campers often call the suspects “Rocker Sean,” police said.
He also worked as an unregistered personal support officer.
In a press release issued Friday, officials said the suspect, identified as 47-year-old Mississauga resident Sean Jackson, had been charged in connection with the ongoing investigation.
Jackson was first charged in April with possession of child pornography, access to child pornography and providing child pornography.
In June, he was further charged with sexual assault, contempt of release and four counts of voyeurism.
The charges have not been proven in court.
Police believe there may be additional victims who have not yet contacted investigators and are urging anyone with information to contact the Internet Child Exploitation Department at 905-453-2121 ext. 3490 or contact anonymously with Peel Crime Stoppers.
