Angry Trump again insists on the impossible January 6 panel after a hearing

Former President Donald Trump’s response on Thursday to another powerful day of testimony before an elected House of Representatives committee investigating the US Capitol riot was again to demand the impossible: evidence of rigged presidential elections.

“The only thing that is not being discussed by Unselects, in any way, form or form, is the irrefutable evidence of mass and widespread electoral fraud and irregularities that occurred during the 2020 presidential election. They refuse to go there. He wrote.

It was not discussed because it never happened. A series of testimonies from former Justice Department officials on Thursday – and in earlier sessions – refuted Trump’s “irrefutable” allegations.

Trump seems to ignore the information in the hearings in the same way he ignores the responses of his Department of Justice, various government officials and U.S. Attorney General William Barr: Allegations of rigged elections were unfounded. A number of specific allegations were refuted in detail.

Trump told Truth Social that it would be “impossible” for the Jan. 6 hearing to “refute or challenge what will be put before them.” To Unselects, please LET’S OFFER PROVIDENCE BY COUNTRY BY COUNTRY. ”

Neither he nor his supporters have offered such evidence.

Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers (right) testified Tuesday that Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, asked him to hold the election because “200,000 illegal immigrants” and more than 5,000 “dead” voted in the state. Bowers told Giuliani he wanted names and was promised that he would get them, he said. Despite repeated requests, he never received a single name, Bowers testified.

Last week, Trump told Truth Social that “the Unselect Committee refuses to discuss the election results, the reason for the huge crowd on Jan. 6 because they can’t.”

In a separate post on Thursday, Trump asked, “What about the massive filling of ballots shown … by highly respected and trusted Patriots of Truth (2,000 mules).” He was referring to a discredited “documentary” that provoked ridiculous laughter from the former chief prosecutor during Bar’s testimony.

The story continues

“I guess that’s good from Unselects?” Such lies! “Trump added in his post.
