Ant and Dec have confirmed that I am a celebrity … Get me out of here! will return to Australia.
The duo Geordie – who has led the show since its launch in 2002 – has revealed that the ITV show plans to return Down Under later this year, after the previous two series took place at Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
Speaking on Heart Radio on Thursday morning, 46-year-old Ant McPartlin told hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Tiaxton: “The plan is to return to Australia. He must return to his spiritual home. Everyone wants to see a little sun at this time of year on TV.

The show was relocated during the pandemic due to strict restrictions on Covid-19 travel between the United Kingdom and Australia.
In December last year, Ant and his colleague Deck Donnelly, also 46, talked about their desire to return to Australia and joked that they could “torture” their roommates more Down Under.
Ant said: “I think we would like to go back to Australia. We had a great two years in Wales – we were made to feel really welcome and at home – but his real home is Australia, so we’d like to go back there next year if we can.

Deck added: “We can torture them more in Australia. The conditions outside are more difficult and there are all kinds of crawling animals in the camp, so it is definitely harder in Australia.
