Apple iMessage is better than WhatsApp now? See the huge change

Apple has announced iOS 16 for iPhone users, which will make their iMessage experience even better than WhatsApp.

Apple recently unveiled its new software version, iOS 16, at WWDC 2022 just days ago, and for iPhone users, the experience has been better and more engaging. However, keep in mind that the software has been released, but will be released to users later in the fall. Apple’s main event provided a look at upcoming features and upgrades, such as lock screen customization, focus mode, parental controls, health features, Apple Pay Later and more. One of the most exciting features you may have missed is the Apple iMessage app, and it’s perhaps better than the popular WhatsApp instant messaging app.

How will the Apple iMessage experience change with iOS 16?

With iOS 16, Apple has added a bunch of new tools and features to your iMessage app that lets you even edit the text you send! Not only that, you will be able to cancel sent messages just like that! Something that WhatsApp users don’t have yet. What is currently being said is that WhatsApp allows users to use a new cancel button to retrieve deleted text. But canceling a sent message is something iPhone users will soon get on their devices with the iOS 16 update! Apple does not currently allow you to edit or cancel sending messages already delivered to iMessage. But with the update of iOS 16 all this is possible! “Users can edit or recall recently sent messages, recover recently deleted messages, and mark conversations as unread so they can return to them later,” Apple said in an update to iOS 16. Not only that, but you’ll get the option to mark the messages as unread so you can view them later. IPhone makers have also added SharePlay to Messages to make it possible to enjoy synchronized content such as movies or songs and shared playback controls while chatting with your friends on Messages.

Well, it is not clear when iOS 16 will reach your iPhone, but according to previous releases it is expected to be released along with the release of the iPhone 14 in September.
